We begin to see the momentum for improvement of processes to achieve faster turn-around times with payers and the use of automation in this industry.
This report describes key findings within the industry, including the following:
- 16.6% of organizations that responded to this survey are completely paperless (up from 10% in 2018) and have leveraged this to achieve greater efficiencies.
- Improvement of the Provider Enrollment process remains a high priority in organizations
- Over half (52.4%) of all respondents say they are now using PECOS for CMS enrollment, continually increasing from 2017
