    VerityStream

Describe your journey at VerityStream?

As a Regional Account Manager on the outpatient new business team at VerityStream. I first started my journey working for HealthStream as an intern where I did various projects at HealthStream. HealthStream is the parent company to VerityStream and this facilitated my connection with the VerityStream Sales team. Following my internship, I transitioned to a sales role for VerityStream where I have been for about 3 years now!

What is an accomplishment you are most proud of, work/nonwork related?

Before I came to HealthStream when I was in college, my buddy and I started a small non-profit as well as a moving business. We had to get a lot of people to onboard while also managing the moving business. At the time a lot of this was new to me and we were doing it all by ourselves, so it was pretty difficult to understand how to successfully set up a nonprofit. However, with a lot of legwork I was able to lay the foundation and my buddy is still running the nonprofit today.

What is important for a candidate to know about career development with VerityStream?

One of the most important things for my career has been the people I work with. If you’re interested in excelling at your career and learning from others, reach out to your network. This could be anyone on your team, colleagues, leadership; everyone at VerityStream is very welcoming and super helpful. It is key to open up and talk with the people around you.

What is your favorite part of working at VerityStream?

My favorite part is the culture. People I work with currently on my outpatient team; some of which I went to college. I have even known some from high school. The people I work hard with every single day while also having fun and exceeding goals is one of the best parts of my day.

What gets you excited to go to work every morning?

Everything goes back to the people for me, especially being in sales you interact with a lot of individuals and different personalities. Meeting people and talking with them is always a joy. That’s what gets me up in the morning is having the opportunity to talk to other people and try to help them out!
