This fifth and final session of this series will demonstrate how the numerous pieces of documentation submitted and obtained during the credentialing and privileging process fit together to provide an accurate and acceptable depiction (provider profile) that is representative of a provider’s overall qualifications and how this information correlates to current and/or ongoing competency for the privileges requested.
At the end of this session, attendees will be able to:
Develop an effective and efficient process to evaluate a provider’s current competency at both the initial request for privileges and upon request for renewal
Discuss and give examples of the types and sources of appropriate documentation required to determine a provider’s current competency relative to the privileges requested
Examine a provider’s profile and identify the presence and/or absence of information critical to determining current and/or ongoing competency for the privileges requested
