A CVO supports the individual facilities in the credentials verification and application processes. CVOs strive to develop a workflow methodology, which balances efficiency and high level customer service for their facilities and providers. Workflow is defined by the Business Dictionary as a “Progression of steps (tasks, events, interactions) that comprise a work process, involve two or more persons, and create or add value to the organization’s activities.” We often see these workflows used by Credentials Verification Organizations.
